SMS Students Dominate Philippine Air Force AVP Making Contest

The multimedia arts students of the School of Media Studies, Mapúa University won the grand prize and 2 other major awards in the Philippine Air Force AVP Making Contest at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City last June 19, 2018.
The Mapúa team composed of Stefani E. Monterde, Allain Carlo B. Quiroga, Jenecy E. Angeles, John Vincent D.R. Salazar, and Paul Raven R. Ramos grabbed the First Place (Grand Prize) of the Feature Video Category. On the other hand, the team of Vinizza Orogo and Daniel Philip Tolentino won the Second Place in the Short Video Category. While the team of Ric John Brecio, Janne Rose Jardeleza, Gerard Beltran, Jhay Christopher Alejo, April Dania Pagatpatan Tianchon, and Tien Alviar took the Third Place in the Feature Video Category.
There were more than 30 participating schools that competed in the AVP making to which teams were given the freedom to conceptualize their story based from the PAF's values that focused on integrity, service excellence, synergy, professionalism, courage, and accomplishment.
