Synopsis:
 
KALATAS is a trilogy melodrama film that reveals and deals with the “Life and Dreams” of an OFW, a teacher, and an archetypal young man. This movie reflects the call to fight for human existence. The first episode is a story of a typical housewife who forces herself to work abroad to provide what is due to her family when her husband suffers from extreme depression upon losing job. The second episode shows the strenuous efforts of the family to extend the value of teaching profession from generation to generation. The third and the final episode deals with the story of an ordinary young man from the outland who feels contented and comfortable with the flow of simple living.

Synopsis:
 
SEPULTURERO is an action-drama film about a grave-digger, named Popoy, who considers cemetery as his life where he finds his own happiness, misery and destiny. The film talks about the different human challenges of an ordinary cemetery worker despite the solemnity and serenity of the resting place he calls home. Popoy and his family are forced to live in the cemetery due to economic pressure from the real human community. They find their own living inside the cemetery where they live normally, but their escape from human society does not exempt them from social trials and despair. Their life becomes dispirited when Popoy has witnessed the slaying of a prominent person inside the graveyard because of the human trafficking issue.
